Thomas Reilly
My father taught himself to play the guitar from a very young age by slowing down records and practicing every chance he got. As he got older and met my mother, she encouraged him to pursue the musical talent she saw in him. With determination and lots of studying, he eventually landed a job doing what he loved.
The sample on the left features a photograph from his very first performance in front of an audience. The crowd was small, but his hopes were high.
His talent goes beyond music — it's also in the patience he shows when teaching others in so many different ways, and I truly admire him for that.
